Kristina DiPalo is a senior communications executive with experience across a broad range of communications specialties. She is highly skilled in leading organizations through complex change initiatives and merger and acquisition periods with a clear focus on keeping key stakeholders informed, engaged and connected. She works closely with leaders to understand their business goals, as well as their voice, in order to create strategies that are results-focused and authentic. Successful at building ad hoc teams and working with partners across multiple disciplines, Kristina brings sought after skills in strategic and executive counseling, speechwriting and business blogging, employee communications, crisis communications and media relations.
Most recently, Kristina led a team responsible for strategic communications support for six corporate functions at Merck. She also led integration communications during the Merck/Schering-Plough merger in 2009. Prior to Merck, Kristina led Human Resources Communications at Pfizer and Pharmacia, playing a key role in employee communications during Pfizer’s acquisition of Pharmacia. She led media relations for two of the largest analytical franchises at Moody’s Investors Service and held sales force and marketing communications roles at Prudential Financial.
Kristina served on the board of a charitable AIDS Foundation in NJ (The Hyacinth Foundation) and is active on the advisory council of The Church of Christ the King in Harding, NJ.
She holds a master’s in corporate communications (Summa Cum Laude) from Seton Hall University and a bachelor’s in economics (Phi Beta Kappa) from Rutgers College. Kristina lives in New Jersey with her husband Michael and two children.
